is that lou farigno (the hulk) spectating?

if your into reading tells then you should be paying attention when your opponent recieves his cards. in this case Quads was definitely one of the possibilities. Daniel even said it when gus went all in. the problem is daniel wasn’t about to fold with a full house

wow, nice river check by gus.

Isn’t there jackpot bonus for this? LOL. This is a bad beat. Horrible turn.

He gave tells of a big hand, not necessarily a full boat. I think he was trying to tell Gus that he had a straight, and end up winning a lot of money in the long run.

  • markclark5 said,

daniel wasn’t paying attention, when gus pulled the five he gave all sorts of tells with his face.

    this is insanity

There was NO WAY ANYONE could get away from that hand…I mean, Daniel had a hunch, but he would even admit I’m sure there’s no way you can fold a house in that situation…

I mean, the only real assumption that could be made is that he had pocket 9’s…pocket 8’s would have been folded on the flop or the turn with that betting because of the straight possible as well as the pair on the board.

It was well played by both pros, just so happens gus hit a lucky card

  • thatniceguy23 said,

daniel had him read!!!! why didn’t he fold….”pocket fives, pocket nines or maybe even pocket eights” he even said it himself…why didn’t he fold!!!!

i think no matter what the hand works the same way. If you assume youre against quads your going to be leaving a lot of money on the table

  • blacklab420 said,

    Great video. Horrible Horible commentary.

  • kristoflaw said,

Come on, that’s what you guys would do against Gus Hansen?! Yeah right!!! Maybe if you were Daniel Negreano, but wait, he didn’t do any of your calls. Come on admit it… that was just plain SICK.

  • eddieindahouse said,

i think that maby daniel should have reraised on the turn, to get a read off of gus’s hand. because i agree with most people here, gus could have bet the flop and turn with anything. if daniel reraises on turn hes basically saying to gus “i have a full house”. and if gus wants to re-re raise or make more money on the river then daniel can only conclude that maby his smaller weak house is beaten. i know its easier said than done, what do u guys think?

  • LABLUBALI said,

come on, thats a good play, but he knew that daniel had to bet…but ya right, it wasn´t the worst move!

it´s cool to see that they both don´t really bother about it, at least gus isn´t very exited about this pot, what shows that this isn´t the kind of game they are normally playin(just think about the big game in the bellagio!)
